Arrival/Embarkation

All Passenger Vehicles

Please Note: There is no parking on Broad Street. Any vehicle stopped on Broad Street that is not actively loading or unloading passengers will be instructed to move and will be required to follow the Exit/Return route to the terminal in order to meet disembarking passengers.
Upon arrival at the Navy Yard entrance, all passenger vehicles will be directed to the left lane and onto League Island Blvd. Follow signs for luggage and passenger drop off. The discharge of passengers is at the cruise terminal facility at 5100 South Broad Street (Building # 3). Along the route, you will be greeted by Security personnel who will direct you. Passengers should be prepared to present their ID to Security personnel at any time while en route to the facility. Please make certain that the official luggage tags supplied by the cruise line are prominently displayed on the luggage. If you do not have luggage tags to place on your bags prior to drop off, cruise line personnel will assist you at the cruise terminal.

Long-Term Parking

After you have dropped off your luggage, please follow the signs for Long-Term Parking where you will pay and park. Payment is payable in cash or by credit card at the rate of $10 per day for the length of your cruise and is due upon arrival at the parking lot. After you have parked, you may board the shuttle bus for transportation back to the cruise terminal for passenger check-in. The lot is located 6/10 of a city block from the luggage drop-off point. Please make certain that fully executed luggage tags supplied by the cruise line are prominently displayed on the luggage. Please keep carry-on items and personal effects with you at all times.

Buses and Limousines for Embarkation and Disembarkation

Embarkation

Buses and Limos are permitted to drive directly to the cruise terminal for luggage drop off. Passengers are encouraged to exit the vehicle and to proceed to the check-in area while your luggage is being off loaded. Please make sure you have all your carry-on items with you along with all your documentation. Please make sure that all luggage that is placed in the belly of the bus or trunk of the limo is properly tagged with cruise line tags and ready for transportation to the vessel. If you do not have official cruise line luggage tags, cruise line personnel will assist you at the cruise terminal.

Disembarkation

Once you exit the cruise terminal, you will be directed to the area where the buses and limos are staged. It is the responsibility of the bus driver, limousine driver, or group leader to assemble their respective group for boarding the bus or limousine. No vehicle will be allowed to idle at the front of the cruise terminal to wait for passengers. Any vehicle stopped that is not actively loading or unloading passengers will be instructed to move and will be required to follow the Exit/Return route to the terminal in order to meet disembarking passengers. When you return from your trip the staging area when you return from your trip is the same area where you were dropped off the week before.

Pick-Ups

People arriving to meet passengers will be directed to the short-term parking lot. The driver (and their companion[s]) will be permitted to walk to the cruise terminal and wait outside the facility in the passenger waiting area for your party to exit the facility. Those passengers who would like expedite their departure may walk their luggage to the awaiting vehicle at the short-term lot and depart from there. If passengers choose to wait at the cruise terminal for their pick-up, the wait time could be approximately 25 to 30 minutes due to security regulations and the amount of traffic in and around the facility at that time. Passengers who have only carry-on luggage and no other luggage on board ship can choose this option to ensure a quick and easy departure. Porters are available to assist with luggage at the facility but are not permitted to carry luggage to the short-term lot.

Taxis

There will be a taxi queue in front of the cruise terminal. Please follow the signs to "Taxis" as you exit the luggage facility. After exiting the facility, please see the taxi attendant so that your name and destination can be added to the list. Taxis are called into the queue by the amount of passengers requesting them.
