Arrival/Embarkation

All Passenger Vehicles

Upon arrival at the Navy Yard entrance (main gate), all passenger vehicles will be directed to proceed straight down Broad Street. Follow signs for luggage and passenger drop off. Along the route, you will be greeted by Traffic Directors who will direct you. Please make certain that official tags supplied by the cruise line are prominently displayed on your luggage. If you do not have luggage tags properly placed on your bags prior to drop off, cruise line personnel will be able to assist you.

Long-Term Parking

After dropping off you luggage, the long-term parking lot will be just to the right of the Cruise Terminal. Follow the signs to the entrance where you will park and pay upon exiting. Payment is accepted in cash or by credit card at the rate of $10 per day for the length of your cruise. After you have parked, you will board the shuttle bus for transportation to the cruise terminal for passenger check-in. The terminal is located 1 block from the Long Term Parking Lot. Please make certain that the official tags supplied by the cruise line are prominently displayed on your luggage. Please keep carry-on items and personal effects with you at all times.

Buses and Delivery Trucks

At the Navy Yard entrance, you will be directed onto League Island Blvd. just to the left of the Main Gate. After entering, you will make a right onto Kitty Hawk Avenue, and follow the appropriate signs to the Cruise Terminal. After dropping off your passengers, luggage or stores, you will immediately exit the Navy Yard. Please make certain that the official luggage tags which are supplied by the cruise line are prominently displayed on the luggage. Any passenger who does not have the official luggage tags on their luggage will have to remain on the bus and meet with a cruise line representative who will assist them at the cruise terminal. Passengers should keep carry-on items and personal effects with them at all times.

Drop-Offs

Upon arrival at the Navy Yard entrance, all passenger vehicles will be directed to proceed straight down Broad Street. Please follow signs for luggage and passenger drop off and discharge passengers at the cruise terminal located at the corner of Broad Street. & Flagship Drive. Along the route; you will be greeted by traffic directors who will direct you. Please follow the signs for passenger drop off and exit immediately following luggage drop off. Please make certain that official luggage tags supplied by the cruise line are prominently displayed on your luggage. If you do not have luggage tags on your luggage prior to drop off, cruise line personnel will be able to assist you.

Departure/Disembarkation

All passengers will claim their luggage and proceed through US Customs at the luggage facility. Once you have cleared Customs (make sure you have your declaration papers available for a quick and easy process), you will be directed to exit the facility for passenger pick up or long-term parking or other means of transportation.

Pick-Ups

Vehicles arriving to meet passengers will be directed to the short-term parking lot. The driver and companion(s) will be permitted to walk to the cruise terminal and wait outside in the passenger waiting area for their party to exit the facility. To expedite departure, the passenger may walk their luggage to the vehicle and leave from the short-term lot. Due to security regulations and the amount of traffic in and around the facility for pick up, your wait time could be approximately 25 to 30 minutes.

Taxis

There will be a taxi queue in front of the cruise terminal. Please follow the signs for “Taxis” as you exit the facility. Taxis are called into the queue by the number of passengers requesting them.
